By engaging with industry partners, policymakers, and international experts, the university has facilitated knowledge exchange, technology transfer, and capacity building, contributing to the growth and development of the railway sector in Thailand and beyond. 

Recently, Chulalongkorn University established the Advanced Railway Infrastructure, Innovation and Systems Engineering (ARIISE) Research Unit, which has significantly contributed to the advancements in railway research. ARIISE serves as a hub for interdisciplinary research, bringing together experts from diverse fields such as civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, materials engineering, architecture etc. Chulalongkorn University’s endeavors in railway research continue to shape the future of railway transportation, fostering efficient, safe, and sustainable systems for the benefit of society.
