Advanced Railway Infrastructure, Innovation and Systems Engineering (ARIISE) Research Unit, led by Associate Professor Dr. Boonchai Sangpetngam, Assistant Professor Dr. Chayut Ngamkhanong, and Dr. Siwarak Unsiwilai, together with Mr. Panthawit Watanasrisin and Mr. Pattarawit Boonnorm, doctoral and master’s students respectively, participated in and presented their research at the Annual Conference on Railway System Engineering 2025. The conference was held at the Project Office of the Den Chai–Chiang Rai–Chiang Khong Double Track Railway Construction in Chiang Rai Province. In addition, the delegation conducted a technical site visit to the Maeka Tunnel construction project in Phayao Province. The activities took place between 17 and 19 June 2025.
ARIISE Research Unit would like to congratulations to Mr. Panthawit Watanasrisin and Mr. Pattarawit Boonnorm on the exceptional recognition of their work. Both students were awarded Best Paper Presentation Awards for their respective contributions: Low-Frequency Modulus Test of Natural Rubber-Based Compounds for Under Sleeper Pad Applications and Influence of sleeper bottom surface on lateral resistance performance of ballasted railway track.
